1894 Obituary [1]

FRANCIS HILL died on February 28, 1894. For thirty-two years he was a manager of Stocksbridge Works, near Sheffield, having entered the service of the late Mr. Samuel Fox when the manufacture of Bessemer steel was first introduced. He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1878.
