1861 Francis Richmond 40, thrashing machine maker, lived in Ellel, Lancs, with Martha Richmond 46, Ann Wright 81, farmers widow, his mother in law, Alice Wright 44, his sister in law, Ann A Wright 10, niece[2]

1881 Living at Lancaster Road, Cockerham, Lancs: Francis Richmond (age 60 born Bolton Le Sands), Machinist, Agricultural Implements - Widower. With his sister-in-law Alice Wright (age 64 born Cockerham) and his two nieces.[3]
