Frank Humphris (1871- ) of the Humphris Engineering Syndicate, Humphris Gear Co, Humphris Gear and Engineering Co and Humphris, Lee and Co. Secured a number of engineering patents.

1871 Born in Banbury the son of John Humphris, a hairdresser.

1911 Living at 29 Bishop Stoke Road, Eastleigh: Frank Humphris (age 40 born Banbury), Inventor - Motor Gear Manufacturing - Widower. With his five children; Godfrey Frank Humphris (age 14 born South Kensington); Gladys Millie Humphris (age 10 born Shepherd's Bush); Greville William Humphris (age 9 born Shepherd's Bush); Lena Maude Humphris (age 7 born Shepherd's Bush); and John Fredrick Humphris (age 5 born Shepherd's Bush). One visitor. Three servants.[1]
