Frank Humphris (1871-1956) of the Humphris Engineering Syndicate, Humphris Gear Co, Humphris Gear and Engineering Co and Humphris, Lee and Co. Secured a number of engineering patents.

1871 1st Quarter: Born in Banbury the son of John Humphris, a hairdresser.

1891 Watch maker, boarding in Newport, Shropshire[1]

1901 Frank Humphris 30, inventor, automatic ... (unclear) maker, working on own account, lived in Hammersmith with Maude Humphris 25, Godfrey F Humphris 4, Gladys M Humphris 11 months[2]
