Frederic Augustus Johnson (1876- ) of William Johnson and Sons

1876 Born in Leeds[1] son of William Johnson (1838-1910)

1891 Living at 82 Cardigan Road, Headingley: William Johnson (age 53 born Norton, Dbys.), Mechanical Engineer - Employer. With his wife Jane Johnson (age 53 born Pontefract) and their four children; Walter Wroe Johnson (age 19 born Leeds), Accounts Clerk; Frederic Auguste Johnson (age 14 born Leeds); Ada Jane Johnson (age 24 born Leeds); and Eleanor Bertha Johnson (age 17 born Leeds). One servant.[2]

1893 Began his apprenticeship with William Johnson[3]

1896 Took charge of the drawing office

1898 Became general manager of the whole works.

1901 Associate member of the Inst of Mech Engineers

1901 An engineer, living in Headingley with his parents[4]

1911 Manager of general engineering works, living in Far Headingley, with Edith Mary Johnson 30, Harold Holmes Johnson 6[5]

1955 A Frederic Johnson died in Norfolk[6]
