1880 Bankruptcy. '...Liquidation by Arrangement or Composition with Creditors, instituted by Frederick John Lloyd, now residing at Upper Villiers street, Blakenhall, Wolverhampton, in the county of Stafford, Bicycle Manufacturer and Clerk, and Samuel Leek, now residing at Church-lane, Wolverhampton, in the county of Stafford, Bicycle Manufacturer, formerly trading in copartnership at Church-lane, Wolverhampton aforesaid, as Bicycle Manufacturers, under the style or firm of Lloyd, Leek, and Company....'[1]

1883 Bankrupt. '...Liquidation by Arrangement or Composition with Creditors, instituted by Frederick John Lloyd, of Walsall-street, Wolverhampton, and No. 5, Albert-terrace, Bradmore, both in the county of Stafford, Cooper and Bicycle Manufacturer...'[2]

1884 Samuel Lloyd, bicycle manufacturer, of Great Hampton Works

c.1890 Lloyd and Co, of Great Hampton Bicycle Works, Church St, Wolverhampton, made the Whitmore Safety Bicycle (which had been made previously at this address by Leek, Fletcher and Co)
