Drilling machine

Frey fils of Belleville, France

Double vertical drilling machine for the Chemin de Fer du Nord [1]. See illustration. The machine had an unusual type of powered/manual feed, visible in the bottom LH corner of the drawing. A similar arrangement was favoured by J. Whitworth and Co at one time.
