1824 George Benjamin Thorneycroft and his brother Edward Thorneycroft established the Shrubbery Iron Works

1841 The partnership of G. B. and E. Thorneycroft, of Shrubbery Ironworks and Bradley Ironworks, was dissolved[1]

1842 G. B. Thorneycroft (Shrubbery Ironworks) were amongst several Wolverhampton forges which had closed[2]
