1969 Formed by the rationalization of parts of GEC, AEI and Elliott Automation. This business was formed as one of 4 parts of GEC-Marconi Electronics; it included the Stanmore and Portsmouth parts of GEC-AEI (Electronics) and Elliott Space and Weapons Automation[1]
