GEC High Voltage Switchgear was a subsidiary of GEC.

1969 GEC Power Engineering was formed which included[1] GEC Switchgear including the relevant parts of GEC, AEI and English Electric Co, and J. G. Statter and Co and Switchgear and Cowans

1978 GEC Switchgear Ltd became GEC High Voltage Switchgear Ltd

1985 Became GEC Switchgear Ltd
