GEC Large Machines Ltd. was a subsidiary of GEC (1982). Unclear how this relates to GEC Machines

1979 Extension to the existing gas furnace capacity became necessary.

1982 Company installed electric stress relieving furnaces.[1]

1989 Became GEC Alsthom Large Machines Ltd

1997 Became GEC Alsthom Large Electrical Machines Ltd

1998 Became Alstom Electrical Machines Ltd
