GEC Switchgear Division
1965 GEC formed a new subsidiary, called GEC (Switchgear) Ltd
1967 GEC established a subsidiary which brought together the previous GEC and AEI business units in switchgear which were rapidly integrated.[1]
1968 GEC (Switchgear) Ltd was renamed GEC-AEI Switchgear Ltd
1969 GEC Power Engineering was formed one part of which the Switchgear division[2], which included the relevant parts of GEC, AEI and English Electric Co, and J. G. Statter and Co and Switchgear and Cowans
1978 GEC Switchgear Ltd became GEC High Voltage Switchgear Ltd
