1939 Railway electrification business from home and abroad[2].

1960-7 Over this period GEC and English Electric won overseas orders worth £30M for railway locomotives[3]
GEC Traction Ltd was presumably formed by bringing together the traction activities of English Electric and AEI with those of GEC.
