1917 Second Lieutenant George B. Bailey R.F.C. was awarded flying certificate #4744 at Ruffy-Baumann School, Acton.

WWI Awarded D. F. C. Promoted to Captain R.A.F.

1919 An R. A. F. Captain, when he was admitted to the Freemasons

1924 Married Dorothy M Davies in London[1]

At some point he took on the leadership of C. H. Bailey

1939 Ship owner, Managing Director of Marine engineers; chairman of dry dock company, lived in Pontypool with Margaret Dorothy Bailey, John Cecil Bailey, Margaret Elaine Bailey[2]

1950s Group Captain George B. Bailey was responsible for starting the dry dock operations of C. H. Bailey in Malta.

1969 Died in Beaulieu, Hants[3]
