GEORGE EEDES EACHUS died at Winchmore Hill on the 14th July, 1910, aged 69. He obtained his practical training on the Great Eastern Railway and under the late Mr. Wentworth-Sheilds.
He then took up consulting work, and for 29 years before his death, in addition to an extensive private practice, comprising sewerage and many other works in England anda broad, he acted as Engineer and Surveyor to the Edmonton Urban District Council, in which capacity he was responsible for many local public works and gave especial attention to the question of the Lea Valley drainage.
Mr. Eachus was elected a Member of The Institution on the 4th December, 1866.
