of the George Gorton Machine Co, Racine, USA.

Born 1865, the son of George Gorton I (1825-1888, married Ann Buffham, 1832-1862. They emigrated to the USA in 1850. After Ann died, he married her sister, Elizabeth Buffham, 1838-1914. All born in Rochdale, Lancashire).

He died in 1955.
