George Hilder Jacobs (1876-1939)

George Hilder Jacobs was born in 1876, and obtained his technical education at the Westminster Technical Institute and the Regent Street Polytechnic.

He was apprenticed with the carriage-building firm of May and Jacobs, Guildford, of which he became Manager and subsequently Partner.

On the formation of a Limited Company he was appointed Managing Director.

He died on 29th January, 1939, at the age of 62.

He was elected an Associate Member in 1912.
