George Randle Hookey (c1810-1877) of John Russell and Co (of South Wales)

1840 Married the daughter of John Russell

c.1848 Birth of son George John Hookey

1861 Living at Furze Hall, Fryerning, Essex: George R. Hookey (age 51 born Southampton), Proprietor of Mines. With his wife Susannah Hookey (age 38 born Worcestershire) and their son Henry Gaskell Hookey (age 13 born Sudbury, Shropshire). One servant.[1]

1877 May 19th. Died. Formerly of Risca House, Monmouth, and late of 28 Westborne Park, Bayswater. Probate to his widow Susannah Hookey.

1884 Death of his wife. 'May 18, at 4, Park-place, Cheltenham, Susannah, widow of Mr. George Randle Hookey, of 28, Westbourne-park, W., and eldest daughter of the late Mr. John Russell, of Terhill-house, Cheltenham, and Badgworth Court, Gloucestershire.'[2]
