1946 Glass Bulbs Ltd was formed as a joint venture between GEC and BTH which supplied the blown-glass envelopes used by M-O Valve and as well as other valve makers [1].
1949 AEI and GEC had formed the join company Glass Bulbs Ltd; a new factory in Harworth, Yorkshire was being built which would house 2 ribbon machines for the production of electric lamp bulbs; the capacity would be sufficient to supply the whole UK industry; it had been agreed with the other main manufacturers that prices would be reduced [2]
1958 The company was a joint venture between AEI and GEC which supplied components that both companies needed[3]
