1960 Investment by Imperial Tobacco Co making the company a subsidiary of Imperial
1962 Imperial invested in a second factory at Widnes[2]. Launched the first flavoured crisp - cheese and onion.
1987 Acquired by Dalgety
1995 Golden Wonder was acquired by its management
2006 The business was placed in administration by its owners. Factories at Market Harborough, Corby and Scunthorpe. Tayto of Northern Ireland bought the Pringles Mini factory in Corby (producing products for Procter and Gamble)[3]. United Biscuits acquired the Nik Naks and Wheat Crunchies brands[4]. Presumably Golden Wonder was acquired by Symington's at this time.
