1890 Birth of son Gordon Inglesby Francis in Hartford, Conn., USA

1891 General Manager of the Auto Machinery Co

1891 Living at Hertford Terrace, Coventry. Graham I. Francis (age 29 born Islington), Manager at Screw Works. With his wife Elizabeth (age 28 born Canterbury) and their son Gordon I. (age 1 born America, British subject) and their daughter Helena (age 4 months born Coventry). Also mother-in-law Mary Mares (age 53 born Horsham). One servant. [1]

1895 With Richard Henry Lea started a business in Day's lane, Coventry which was known as Lea and Francis.
