1892 The hotel was built to a high specification and became Aberdeen's leading hotel
1918 A limited company was established, The Grand Hotel (Aberdeen) Limited
1930 The company went into voluntary liquidation. The building was bought by a consortium of local businessmen and subsequently became the Caledonian Hotel
