1993 Ptarmigan Holdings plc changed its name to Graystone plc

1993 Sold G. A. Stadler and Co and Gainsborough Flowers. Subsidiaries included:

1993 Acquired British Syphon Co

1995 Acquired Ring Group, supplier of automotive parts and consumer lighting products[1]

1997 Sale of the engineering division. After a profit warning and failure of a bid for the company, the chairman resigned.

1998 Name changed to Ring plc; moved head office from Wilmslow to Leeds.
