Visitors will find every accommodation, and attention combined with moderate charges. Genuine Wines, Spirits, &c, Good Beds, Stabling, and Lock-up Coach Houses. The Inn being so near the Station, Travellers, per rail, will find it a great accommodation. Families supplied with Good Home Brewed Beer.'[1]

Conducted for the past Twenty Years by the late Mr. James Hutchings. Private Families and Commercial Gentlemen will find every accommodation combined with moderate charges. The House has undergone complete renovation; additional Commercial Room has been added, as well as other accommodation, rendering it in every respect a first-class Hotel.
