1886 Alfred Inigo Suckling-Baron went to New Zealand for the company

1891 Sent Robert Thorburn Turnbull to New Zealand for 12 months to manage a power station

1892 The electrification of the Crystal Palace at Sydenham, providing a permanent lighting system, was still operating well, many years after installation.
