1854 Advert: 'TO GAS-FITTERS, ENGINEERS, AND MACHINISTS.— All kinds of fittings for gas, water, and steam pipes, warranted to carry 1,000 lbs pressure to the square inch; nuts, screw keys, cranks, joints, presses, weft forks, and every variety of annealed castings to pattern, manufactured by H. M. OMMANNEY, Steel Metal Works, Charles-street Mill, Brook-street.'[1]
