1904 Henry Persehouse Parkes and Co Ltd was sold to a new company H. P. Parkes and Co. Business relationship with N. Hingley and Sons[1].

1904 Incorporated under Hingley control in succession to Henry Persehouse Parkes and Co Ltd.

W. B. Rubery was a large shareholder in the original H.P. Parkes company

1914 Manufacturers of chains, chain cables, anchors, ground tackle of any kinds, forgings, steel and iron of any size. Listed as being established nearly a century ago. [2]

1947 Renamed Richard Sykes and Son, Ltd., exchanging this name with: W.B. RUBERY AND COMPANY, LTD.

Incorporated in 1927. Registered office in Birmingham Road, Walsall. Dormant from 1937 to 1947. Renamed Richard Sykes and Son, Ltd. in 1944 and H.P. Parkes & Co., Ltd. in 1947.

1966 Company liquidated.
