July 1919. Fleet at Southend: Furious, Queen Elizabeth, Lion, Tiger, Barham, Valiant, Malaya, Revenge, Royal Oak, Royal Sovereign, King George V, Erin and Conqueror.



1913 Built by Portsmouth Dockyard, the lead ship of the Queen Elizabeth-class of dreadnought battleships, named in honour of Elizabeth I of England. She saw service in both World Wars. These vessels were the first ships of their type to be powered by oil instead of coal.
