Sometime after 1856 Robert Hadfield and Jabez Shipman went into business together

1866 The partnership of Robert Hadfield, Jabez Shipman and George Parkes Wall trading as Hadfield, Shipman and Co was dissolved; the business was carried on by Shipman and Walls as J. Shipman and Co[1]
