HAROLD PERCIVAL CLARKE, born in Argentina on the 18th March, 1888, was killed in action in France on the 9th May, 1915.
After workshop experience in England, he went out to Argentina in 1907, and was employed for several years in the drawing-offices, and on the construction staff of various Argentine railways, being appointed in 1913 Construction Engineer of a branch of the Central Argentine Railway.
On the outbreak of war, he returned to England and obtained a commission in the Rifle Brigade.
He was elected an Associate Member on the 2nd December, 1913.
