Harry Arthur Bauchop (1918-1941)


1941/42 Obituary [1]

Harry Arthur Bauchop was born in 1918 and educated at Wellesley College, Wellington, N.Z., and Canterbury University College.

He was apprenticed to Leyland Motors, Ltd., Leyland, but enlisted in H.M. Forces before the termination of his apprenticeship. He was withdrawn from the R.A.S.C. by the New Zealand Government and commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant, O.M.E., with the New Zealand Forces in Egypt.

He was wounded in action and died in August, 1941, at the age of 26.

He was elected a Graduate in 1941.
