Colliery Owners, of Whitwood Collieries, Normanton, Yorks.

1865 Incorporated as a Limited Company by Henry Currer Briggs. The company was registered on 5 April, to acquire the collieries of the firm of the same name. [1]

1959 Offered to acquire Settle Speakman and British Benzol and Coal Distillation Ltd[2]
