Henry Gregson (c1812-1858) of West and Gregson
1834 Henry Gregson, goldsmith of Chorlton cum Medlock, married Hannah Penniston in Manchester[1]
c.1850 Sometime after the death of Thomas West, Gregson joined Thomas's son, John in the West family business, presumably West Brothers and Co, which then became West and Gregson.
1851 Living at York Street, Oldham: Henry Gregson (age 37 born Hull), Machinist Master employing 20 men. With his wife Hannah Gregos and their four daughters and one soon.[2]
1858 June 9th. Died age 46[3]. Gas-meter maker. Probate to his brother Robert Gregson of Mills Hill, a Cotton Spinner, and to John Taylor Cheetham of Firwood, Cotton manufacturer.
