Sale of valuable and extensive Riverside Workshops and IRON FOUNDRIES, with the Two STEAM ENGINES and Boilers, Shafting and Gearwork, Foundry and Gas Fittings, numerous Store Rooms, Office, Eight-Roomed DWELLING-HOUSE and Garden, the whole in the occupation of Mr. Martin, Engineer and Millwright.
MR. GEORGE SNAILUM with instructions to SELL BY AUCTION at the Swan Hotel, Bradford-on-Avon, on TUESDAY, April 8th, 1879, at 5 for 6 o’clock in the Evening (subject to Conditions), the undermentioned centrally situated desirable and valuable FREEHOLD PROPERTIES, namely:—
Lot 1— A stone built Foundry 43 by 81, with Drying Stove, Engineer's Workshop, 38-6 by 37-6, Timber Shed, Office, 4 Store Rooms and Yard, adjoining the River Avon in Bridge Street, Bradford-on-Avon aforesaid. The 6 horse power Steam Engine, Boiler. Shafting and Gearwork, and Foundry Crane thereon will be included in the Purchase.
Lot 2.—The Engineer's and Smith's by 38, Iron Foundry, 61-6 by 28-8, including Drying Stove, Boiler House, Pattern and Coke Sheds, Core Shop and Yard, also abutting the River Avon, and adjoining the last Lot. It is intended to include in this Lot, at a fixed sum, the 10 horse power Steam Engine, Boiler, Shafting and Gearwork, Cranes, 2 Cupolas, Fan, and Gas Fittings. The capital Machines, Tools and Stock-in-Trade may taken the option of the Purchaser valuation at valuation in the usual way.
