Asst. with the Bd. of Public Works, Ireland, 1878-89; on the Fishing Piers and Harbours of Ireland; Asst. Engr., The Loop Line, Dublin, 1889-90; Engr. to The Limerick Harbour Commissioners, since 1890; responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the navigation of the Shannon, below Limerick, and all work connected with the maintenance of the Port.
