1851 August 18th. Born in Edgbaston the son of Frederick Elkington and his wife Emily

1911 Living at Clunes, Sutton Coldfield: Herbert Frederick Elkington (age 59 born Edgbaston), Chairman of Elkington and Co, Silversmiths, makers of electro-plate and silver goods - Employer - Widower. Also his grand-daughter Jess Fraser (age 5 born Sutton Coldfield). Two visitors. Three servants.[1]
