1950-80s A family owned business with Mr Whitmarsh as chairman. Manufacturer of all thermoplastics mouldings in the engineering industries with 40 or so employees. There were many own branded products which included polymer bicycle type chains and so on. There was a particular interest in the advertising and drinks trade for unique publicity and promotional items, which was quite specialised. A toolmaking division existed within the main company and there was a French associate concern near Paris. The company closed following the passing of the charismatic chairman.
