"Newman.—On October 21 Mr. J. E. Newman, ironmonger, of Bridge Street, Chester. Mr. Newman, who was a native of Cambridgeshire, had been in business in Chester for thirty-six years having taken over the old-established business of Powell, Edwards & Co."
