Thomas Mulliner & Co., at the Mitre Hotel, Cathedral-yard, on Tuesday, August 31, at five for six o'clock the evening, subject to conditions of sale to be then produced, Valuable STEEL TOOL WORKS, known as the Atlantic Works, and now in the occupation of James Dodge and Co. Limited, manufacturers of steel files, hammers, and saws, situate adjoining the Rochdale Canal, and fronting to Grimshaw-lane, Newton Heath, near Manchester, together with Engine, Boilers, and Mainshafting. The buildings comprise office, furnace-house, steel-rolling shed, forging shop, grinding shop, file-cutting shop, mechanics' shop, saw-cutting house, saw-hardening house, joiners' shop, stores, engine and boiler house, chimneys, and all necessary buildings. The engine is a fine horizontal condensing steam engine 34in. cylinder 54in. Stroke. The boilers comprise double flued boiler, 30ft. by 7ft. And improved 50 horse boiler.
