1828 The business of Dove and Campbell listed as blacksmiths, fire engine and pump makers, Greenside Lane.[1]

1830 The partnership was dissolved by mutual consent of the subscribers, James Dove and Thomas Buchanan Campbell on 5 April.[2]

1911 James Dove and Co listed as motor, hydraulic and lighthouse engineers.[3]

1915 The sale by auction was announced of all engineering plant, machinery and tools belonging to the company.[4]
