1818 Baptised 13 Dec 1818 the son of John Ferrabee and his wife Esther

1846 Marriage of James the second son of John Ferrabee of Phoenix Iron Works, Stroud to Deborah daughter of John neale of the Knapp, near Minchinhampton. [1]

1851 to 1855 of John Ferrabee and Sons, which he ran with his brother Henry Ferrabee

1861 Living at Phoenix iron Works, Stroud (age 42 born Stroud), Engineer master employing 130 hands. With wife Deborah (age 42) and children Howard (age 13), Florence (age 12), John (age 10), James (age 9), Edward (age 8), Gertrude (age 7), Paul (age 5), Margaret (age 5) and Constance (age 2).
