1901 Incorporated as a Private Limited Company. Head Office transferred to Plymouth. Presumably successor to James Gibbs and Co and/or James Gibbs

The company operated the Cwmbran Chemical Works.

1910/11 Chance and Hunt acquired James Gibbs and Finch of Cwmbran

1914 Products: sulphuric, nitric, and hydrochloric acids, tar and ammonia Distilling, dealing in Chemicals, Chemical Engineering.
