. . . . In 1879 he entered the service of Falkiner and Tancred, and was occupied for two years on the construction of the Limerick and Kerry Railway, about 43 miles in length. He was then engaged in 1882, still for the same firm, in making the contract plans for the Tralee and Fenit Railway, a short line of 8 miles, and in taking soundings for the Tralee and Fenit Harbour.
For the next four years Mr. Moore was in sole charge of the latter works, which were carried out at a cost of £95,000 . . . [more]
