1851 Living at Charlotte Street, Leamington Priors: James Warkerden Robinson (age 57 born South Lambeth), Gas Contractor. With his wife Ann Robinson (age 48 born Paramarito, Surinam) and their son James Henry Robinson (age 20 born West Bromwich). Three servants and one other.[3]
1862 James Wickenden Robinson with his sons William Leckie Robinson and James Henry Robinson entered a lease for the supply of gas in Leamington.[4]
1864 Ownership of the Leamington Priors Gas-Light and Coke Co. was stated to be: '... a certain lease of the 18th of November, 1862, of the undertaking of the Company, or part thereof, already granted by or on behalf of the Company, in favour of Messrs. James Wickenden Robinson, William Leckie Robinson, and James Henry Robinson...'[5]
1866 October 15th. Died at his residence 15 Charlotte Street, age 66 years.[6]
