1879 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, Ernest Jardine and Richard J. Ball, trading at Raleigh-street, and 50, Alfreton-road, in the town of Nottingham, and elsewhere as Bicycle Makers and Ironmongers, under the firm of Jardine and Ball, is this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to and owing by the said partnership will be received and paid by the said Richard J. Ball, by whom alone the business will in future be carried on...'[1]
