1804 Born in Cockfield, Durham son of John Dixon (1763-1816) and his wife Elizabeth[1]. John would seem to have been son of George Dixon (1731-1785) and his wife Sarah.

1838 Birth of son Raylton

1851 Jeremiah Dixon 46, clerk to the Northumberland and Durham Bank, lived in Newcastle upon Tyne, with Mary Dixon 47, John Dixon 16, apprentice engineer, Augusta Dixon 14, Amelia Dixon 10, Waynman Dixon 7, Mary Dixon 5[2]

1882 Died in Ulverston[3]
