- 1843 Advertisement: 'ALL Persons having any Claim or Demand up n the Estate and Effects of JOHN AICKMAN, late, of King's Lynn, in the county of Norfolk, Iron Founder, deceased, are required to send their Accounts to us forthwith ; and all persons indebted to the Estate of the said John Hickman [sic], are requested to pay their Debt at the Foundery Office, in King Street, in King's Lynn, to Mr. David Menzies. By Order of the Executors, L. W. JARVIS & SON. Lynn, 10th May, 1843.
And notice is hereby given, that the Trades of Iron Founder and Blacksmith, heretofore carried on by the late John Aickman and Co. will be continued on the Premises, in King Street, under the Firm of AICKMAN, MENZIES, and Co." to whom all Orders will he thankfully received and promptly executed.'
