1903 Incorporated as a Limited Company

1903 The company was registered on 28 March, to acquire the business of woollen merchants etc, of the firm of the same name. [1]

1914 Directors: Henry Barran, J.P. (Chairman), Rowland Barran, M.P., Sir John N. Barran, Bart., M.P., P. Austyn Barran (Managing Director), R. Noel Barran, W. H. Spice, John Lyall, W. O. Biddle, G. C. Veale and C. Crampton. Secretary: Leonard Hawkesworth.
