John Bird (1780-1846), teacher

1780 Born in Ulceby By Barton, Lincolnshire, son of John Bird and his wife Mildred[1]

1802 Married Ann Bland in Boston, Lincs. (assuming this is the same person)

1809 Birth of son William, in Nympsfield, son of John and Ann Bird[2]

1811 Birth of son Alfred in Nympsfield, Glos., son of John and Mary Bird[3]

1816 Birth of son Frederick in Abingdon.

1820 Married Eliza Binfield

1822 Birth of daughter Catherine Anne to John and Eliza Bird, at Hedsor (Beaconsfield), Bucks[4]

1825 A lecturer in astronomy based in Windsor and Eton

1827 Birth of daughter , Caroline Isabella Bird in Eton, Berks[5]

1832 Birth of son James Binfield Bird in Eton[6]

1836 Lecturer at Eton College; dedicated his pamphlet on the "Juvenile Solar System" to J. L. Binfield[7]

1841 Eliza Bird 39, lived in Eton with Cecila Bird 16, Caroline Bird 15, James Benfield Bird 11[8]
