Springside Distillery, Campbeltown
1830 Established and owned by the Colvill family, the distillery traded as John Colvill and Co until its closure. Alfred Barnard paid a brief visit to what he described as the smallest of the Campbeltown whisky distilleries, with an annual output of 30,000 gallons.
1926 The distillery closed and the buildings were subsequently used for other purposes.
